iSEEu Counselling theoretical approach is centred on the Person-centred Model, which emphasises on the uniqueness of every individual’s perception. Every client experience event in accordance with his or her own phenomenal field. Therefore, the event is perceived, processed, and interpreted in the client’s perception and comprehension. As such, at iSEEu Counselling, the sessions are led by the needs of the client, or in other words, the therapy is ‘person-centred’, enabling the individual through their journey towards becoming a fully functioning person. By experiencing increasingly the person-centred Core Conditions of Empathy, Congruence and Unconditional Positive Regard, there is further potential for continual growth. The individual begins to experience increased unconditional acceptance of self, self-governance and autonomy, fostering the increased ability to apply these self-actualising principles internally.
