About
My theoretical approach is the Person-centred Model, which emphasises on the uniqueness of every individual’s perception, that every client experience event in accordance with his or her own phenomenal field. Therefore, the event is perceived, processed, and interpreted in the client’s perception and comprehension. As such, the sessions are led by the needs of the client, or in other words, the therapy is ‘person-centred’, enabling the individual through their journeying into becoming a fully functioning person. While experiencing increasingly the person-centred Core Conditions of Empathy, Congruence and Unconditional Positive Regard, there is further potential for continual growth - the individual is begins to offer self and to experience increased unconditional acceptance of self, self-governance and autonomy.
